AD - Countryside Retreat
2021 - Cercal do Alentejo, Santiago do Cacém
A project that brings together a rural hotel and a family house in the landscape of Alentejo. Rooted in vernacular traditions yet guided by sustainable strategies, it balances comfort and authenticity — a retreat where architecture, nature, and slow living meet.
AF - Housing
2020 - Melides, Grândola
This project brings together two residential buildings in Melides: one existing house undergoing a complete refurbishment, and a new home built entirely in traditional taipa.
AF - Countryside Hotel
2020 - Melides, Grândola
This project includes the change of use from an existing residential house to tourism and the construction of a new building for in rammed earth, or, taipa. The countryside hotel is integrated with the land and has stunning views.
BZ - Rural Hotel
2020 - Melides, Grândola
Villas are discreetly positioned in the land and the main hotel is mostly built underground but on top of the main hill, in order to decrease it’s presence in the surroundings.
BR - Housing
2019 - Melides, Grândola
500 sqm residential project done from scratch. Brief was for it to be “barn like” and we used the Alentejo warehouses as inspiration.
